Happy 20th Anniversary to Thrill Jockey!

Inveterate Chicago record label, Thrill Jockey is celebrating 20 years of puttin' out music and they've got four shows planned to commemorate this landmark feat of achievement. Recent acquisitions (like your Matmoses and your Dan Friels, etc.) as well as label mainstays (your Tortoises, your Trans Ams, et al) will perform live in venues on both coasts (see below). One can only presume a Midwest show will be added in the not-too-distant future. (May we presume this, Thrill Jockey?) In addition to these shows, the label will also be releasing a comedy record from Fred Armisen (Portlandia, SNL, Trenchmouth) and some vinyl re-issues of various past recordings from roster regulars (your Sea and Cakes, your Califones and the like). Way to go, T.J., you're only one year older than Reglar Wiglar Magazine—now that's impressive!
