I had a Gym instructor named Clint Maldonado who wrote the capitol letter L and capitol letter I just a little bit too close together on his uniform.
This was in the mid-1980s, and the visual effect made a lasting impression on me, so I've always read the 42nd president's name as BILL CUNTON.
